The group is working with different Monte Carlo packages, discussing and comparing results
of simulations of high-energy neutrons, muons and gammas. The objectives of the working
group are:
• To identify the most appropriate Monte Carlo simulation codes;
• To identify the needs for the shielding and active veto systems, and to assess different
proposals for solutions;
• To discuss the data on purity of different materials and its influence on the set-up.
